Customer Service Representative


Our client is a rapidly growing start-up in the health and wellness industry, with a fantastic reputation, stellar company culture and perks including; team outings (when safe), free meals, and more. Not to mention, they are mission-driven and located in heart of New York City! They are looking to expand their Customer Service team. They pride themselves on providing the very best in class customer service and they are looking for Customer Service Representatives who out are outgoing, driven, and determined. For now, this role will start out remote, but in the future (at some point in 2021), they do need people to go into the office (again, when safe). Salary/Rate



$17 – $22ph based on experience



Position Overview



The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the following key areas: speaking with customers over the phone, entering customer data, and providing customer solutions to inquiries. The Customer Service Representative will provide support via phone, email, and chat. The Customer Service Representative needs to be a team player, comfortable in an ever changing environment, quick on their feet, adaptable, and work well under pressure. This is a temp to perm position and they are looking for people who want to learn and grow with the company.



Responsibilities Of The Customer Service Representative

  • Speak with both exciting and potential clients on the phone, email, and online chat platform
  • Be the point person to handle requests, questions, and any issues in a positive manner
  • Reply to customer email inquiries in a fast-paced environment with the health care space
  • Think quickly and create creative solutions to any and all problems that arise
  • Provide customer support to both current and prospective clients
  • Utilize Zendesk
  • Must be comfortable on the phone speaking with people and possess strong critical thinking skills and sense of urgency
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a customer service related position OR internship experience within the health care or wellness space
  • Have a can-do attitude, be motivated to succeed, and passionate about helping people
  • Should have prior experience using Zendesk
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
