Customer Service Specialist - Remote | Wfh
Responsibilities
Cultivate positive relationships with multiple lenders and support staff.
Be the initial point of contact, responsible for addressing and resolving inbound calls from mortgage customers, loan officers, or other departments.
Initiate outbound collection calls and/or generate correspondence for agency-specific loans such as FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA.
Process loan payments.
Conduct mortgage verifications.
Organize and file all received documents.
Provide assistance with annual escrow analysis and year-end statements.
Offer support to other areas and contribute to special projects as required.
Qualifications & Skills

Exhibit a strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented approach, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Have 1-2 Years Of Customer Service Experience (required).
Preferably possess 1-2 years of experience in mortgage customer service and/or the mortgage industry.
Have a combination of education, experience, and training that equips them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Communication/Language Skills
Proficiency in English is essential, and proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.
Ability to understand and communicate effectively by speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Capability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Competence in writing simple correspondence.
Effective presentation of information in one-on-one and small group situations with customers, coworkers, peers, and other employees within the organization.
Proficient communication through email, requiring good typing, spelling, and written communication skills.
