As a web3 backend engineer, you will
- Build and improve ParaSwap's core system, including web3 components and smart contracts
- Become an expert in major DeFi protocols as well as Layer 2 scaling solutions
- Help developers and partners like Aave & Ledger build on ParaSwap
- Ensure users have a highly secure and scalable system
- Be a leader that has a direct impact on the product roadmap
- Make a significant impact using open-source codeDesired skills
- Strong Computer Science background
- Strong software engineering experience using NodeJS/TypeScript
- Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Work well in both a small agile team and independently
- Bonus: Experience writing Smart Contracts and understanding the EVMPersonal characteristics
- Strong team player, able to collaborate with cross-functional/ markets.
- Excellent relationship-building and engagement with people from various backgrounds, roles, and levels
- Lateral thinker & problem solver. Innovative and proactive in driving initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to promptly establish priorities and actionable insights
- Able to exercise judgment, work under pressure, and be flexible to liaise effectively with the various business units, supporting units and groups of people and issues
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from external vendors to senior leadership
