Role and Responsibilities:

Dedicated to crafting excellent original content. The Marketing Writer will conduct thorough research to develop industry-related topics to support writing and generate ideas for new content. The Marketing Writer will enrich our website with articles, guides, white papers, press releases, product descriptions, case studies, and other forms of content. The Marketing Writer will be responsible for proofreading and editing all content and written material before publication. You should also be prepared to assist with other creative processes, such as the visual element selection process.

Content for Company & Founder

  • Build the brand of Arrow Payments with a focus on leading with love and emotional intelligence. Our goal is to highlight why Arrow Payments is different. Serve as a central resource for all brand-related information.
  • Write compelling and engaging materials such as articles, guides, white papers, press releases, product descriptions, case studies, and social media.
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content (as needed).
  • Use an AI-assisted copywriting and content-writing process. This position will curate daily tweets, informative blog-style articles, as well as digital marketing and web copy based on carefully generated AI content. To be clear, the skill needed for success in this role is not necessarily“writing from scratch.” Instead, the ideal candidate will learn to operate our highly-sensitive and nuanced AI tools with finesse and confidence and then edit for relevance, readability, accuracy, and flow.
  • Collaborating with designers to produce quality advertising material for our services. Oversee the design and style.

Website

  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/systems
  • Proofread and edit articles for errors and inconsistencies before publication
  • Editing and polish existing content to improve readability
  • Submit work to leadership for input and approval
  • Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website
  • Create compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
  • Identify client’s needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
  • Update website content as needed in WordPress

Support Sales Cycle

  • Oversee and maintain the list of institutions and create a funnel that maintains communication with potential clients.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of past campaign results to determine the most effective marketing approaches.
  • Keeping the CRM (Sales Force) current and updated.
  • Assist in setting up meetings and responding to emails for leadership.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and finalizing sales proposals, presentations and annual reviews.
  • Draft webinar topics and presentations.
  • Maintain current and active knowledge of all promotional activations and performance for brand and competitors.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Experience doing research
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Working knowledge of content management systems (WordPress)

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
