software Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a fully remote Software Engineer to join their team.
Summary:
The Software Engineer will be working with a team that is building configuration libraries/frameworks for other engineers use to deploy their code. There is a massive migration for all of the software running in the stores (things on the edge; for example, cash register or store server) and they will be building supportive components for other teams to work with when deploying/coding (this could be another engineer using their library to pull data from the cash register). Their goal is to make sure it is as easy to deploy code to the stores on prem as it is to deploy code to the cloud.
REQUIREMENTS: Technical Skills:

REQUIREMENTS: Technical Skills:
- Golang
- React/JavaScript
- Public cloud services; GCP preferred
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Maintaining and utilizing CICD pipelines
- Metrics collection, operational monitoring, and alerting: Telegraf preferred; Wavefront preferred
- Code reviews and basic team-based git workflows
- Strong communication and collaboration
- Proactive problem solving
