Digital Content Writer 🔥
Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create digital content for blog articles, white papers, e-mail campaigns, guides, webpages, webinars, awareness offers, success stories, social media, directories, and other channels as appropriate.
- Research, validate, write, and edit content.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and other content contributors.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to guide drafts through the internal review process.
- Optimize content according to search engine optimization best practices for inbound traffic.
- Repurpose content across multiple channels and platforms.
- Ensure that all grammar, spelling, flow, tone, and style are appropriate for the writing project.
- Lead and champion the brand voice, tone, editorial style, and content guidelines across the marketing team.
- Produce copy that engages and converts prospects and existing customers.
- Increase key performance metrics for content including organic traffic, engagement, click-through rates, and conversion.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or other related fields.
- Two to four years of experience in a similar position.
- A grasp of grammar and AP Style with the ability to write at a professional level.
- Experience researching topics and interviewing subject matter experts.
- The ability to simplify complex material into easy-to-read copy.
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of inbound digital marketing trends, including web content development best practices.
- Sufficient working conditions, including high-speed internet and an environment where phone calls and virtual meetings can occur without interruption required.
- Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements.
- Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards.
- Attend scheduled EH&S training program.
- Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans.
- Recommend improved EH&S practices.
- Must maintain regular and consistent attendance.
