Marketing Content Creator, Global


The Marketing Content Creator, Global is a crucial team member who creates content that drives sales, while also helping strategize and implement marketing, branding and advertising plans. This position involves copywriting and editing of a variety of content for commercial initiatives, ad hoc requests and events, including supporting digital efforts such as inbound campaigns, social media efforts, webpages, and email blasts. Additionally, working with copywriting and editing of medical education, tradeshow support, advertisements, and marketing collateral. This role will also develop evergreen content across formats for products and branding for long term use to improve efficiency. This person will also facilitate content reviews with and identified global team and incorporate feedback from subject matter experts.

This role requires a highly collaborative individual to work cross-functionally with many stakeholders – liaising closely with Sales, Marketing Communications, Medical Education, Clinical Education, Upstream Marketing, Downstream Marketing, Operations and Regulatory.

The preferred candidate will also have graphic design experience – utilizing graphic design skills to create customer facing communications from pre-defined templates in print and digital formats, such as Social Media posts, email graphics, brochures and advertisements.

What you’ll get to do in this role:

  • Create, execute, and oversee marketing content development
  • Writing compelling, clear and error-free content that reflects the company’s voice
  • Edit marketing/sales materials, including sell sheets, event collateral, brochures, thought leadership pieces, advertising and promotional copy and newsletters that are consistent with the messaging, voice and brand
  • Use background source material as a guide, conduct interviews to gather the detail needed to "get the story" and write compelling content
  • Grow and maintain our audiences and build brand awareness, including optimizing content for each social media platform
  • Host meetings to align global team members and subject matter experts on project efforts
  • Concept, write, edit and produce video scripts as needed
  • Become very familiar with the target markets and products within our industry
  • Maintain industry knowledge and trends across competitive landscape
  • Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Assist in the creation of documents such as product marketing collateral and write product go-to-market launch plans working seamlessly with Downstream Marketing to develop and deliver excellent communications
  • Facilitates and promote collaborative and productive working relationships as a member of the marketing team and within cross-functional project teams

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college
  • Graphic design experience preferred – Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ copywriting and editing experience in a mid-to-large-sized company required, ideally in medical device or healthcare
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently interpret copywriting briefs and comprehend project requirements.
  • Demonstrated success delivering multiple projects while balancing competing priorities with tight deadlines
  • Experience with SEO and social media copywriting
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-task environment
  • Must be a results-oriented, independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Travel Required: Minimal travel
