About the team
The marketing enablement role is responsible for three key functions: management, strategy and execution. Management responsibilities include team management, goal alignment, cross-functional team collaboration, as well as acting as departmental liaison to other functions such as data analytics and engineering and executive advocacy. Strategic responsibilities include program strategy, monitoring and analyzing, governance, training and deployment. Execution functions include program development, system development, quality assurance, measurement and template execution. This role supports executive leadership as a marketing advisor and technologist, working directly with the marketing digital strategy, OPs, channels and engineering.About the role
Lead a team of marketing channel technologists to build seamless customer experiences while procuring, enhancing and optimizing the platforms to enable these initiatives
Work with marketing leadership, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to develop coordinated, enterprise-wide marketing technology strategy
Collaborate with the web marketing team to define marketing web technology strategy with the goal of streamlining web property updates, builds and content management, as well as integrations and cross channel tech needs; suggest process improvements and automation opportunities to scale
Collaborate with cross channel marketing teams on building and enhancing supporting martech technologies
Collaborate with other marketing operations partners to ensure website solutions are in alignment with other channel approaches
Optimize and standardize marketing automation and technology deployment processes across the organization
Design and develop marketing systems and technology such as customer data platforms (CDP) and orchestration layers in collaboration with data and development teams to ensure consistent customer experience across channels
Document and communicate/distribute across the organization best practices for marketing technology and automation
Design and develop web and traffic data collection infrastructure for marketing. Work with analytics, channel, web and product teams to ensure tagging and tracking is implemented in an effective and scalable way
Manage internal marketing automation administrators and specialists, and oversee the selection of agencies and third-party vendors (if applicable)
Who you are
8+ years of marketing tech experience with 2+ years of people management experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Data-driven mindset; comfortable with data analysis
Experience with marketing technology such as managing a CMS, CDP, CXP etc
Web analytics experience, SQL a plus
Proactive, organized and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills
Outstanding communication (written and oral), people management and interpersonal skills
