This is an integral role at our advertising agency that supports the Client Services team with developing and maintaining marketing campaigns for our clients. Your previous experience in account management and project management, combined with first-hand experience with the day-to-day workflow across internal agency teams including media, analytics, creative, production, make you a great addition to our team.

What does an Account Executive do at Rain the Growth Agency?

  • Act as an integral member of our Client Service team leveraging our Transactional Brand Building process to develop integrated campaigns for clients
  • Know your clients' business and campaigns, including having an awareness of competitive impacts
  • Facilitate and manage all tasks aimed at achieving client goals, including partnering with Project Management to ensure clients' needs are met
  • Contribute to our campaign management process, IMAP, completing tasks as assigned by Project Management
  • Support Client Service leads on accounts with a customer-centric focus to maintain the overall health and status of the account
  • Work directly with our Media and Analytics teams to meet clients' KPIs and produce reports supporting campaign performance
  • Manage client and campaign workflow, including:
    • Preparation for client meetings and reviews, including scheduling meeting times with client, preparing agendas, and managing meeting materials
    • Document meeting notes to capture key actions, decisions, and next steps, as needed based on the nature and focus of the meeting (e.g. media, planning, research, reporting, status)
    • Request project codes for media- and retainer-based projects
    • Initiate assignment briefs and creative estimate request forms (CERFs), partnering with Project Management for completion
    • Create and manage Media Authorization Forms (MAFs)
    • Manage media budgets in internal tracking platform
    • For broadcast or OTT projects, manage estimates for video distribution based on approved media plan
    • Manage all media and retainer client invoice requests, invoice tracking, and budget maintenance. Work with Project Management to manage tracking of project-related invoices. Understand the client-related finances and partner with finance team and account lead on invoice process and account reconciliation.
    • Participate in QA of all creative assets prior to launch
  • Anticipate and plan course of action in the event of changes in client campaigns
  • Review creative and media outputs against the criteria outlined in the client briefs for accuracy and ladder-up to the objectives of the client
  • Understand the entire campaign development and execution process and be able to convey that across account leads
  • Document and communicate to internal teams in the following areas: client feedback, changes in scope, and updates on clients' business, ensuring alignment with all parties
  • Own substantiation materials and client-specific records/documentation; manage appropriate reviews and compliance approvals
  • Maintain client-specific reports and assets with a high degree of accuracy
  • Research and resolve program issues in conjunction with account leads
