Marketing Manager 🔥

This is a full-time REMOTE role in Orange Country, CA
Pay Range $41-$56HR NON NEGOTIABLE
Looking for a temporary (3 months) part-time (20hrs/week) Marketing Manager.
This role will manage key work streams and/or entire events, Donor Cultivation events, communication plans and conferences. The ideal candidate will have experience in event marketing, operations and logistics as well as managing year-long cycles of planning and working within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of marketing for the Foundation.
Work closely with the communications office.
Support committees and staff with all donor events.
Provide leadership to Conference on Business and Ethics, Gala and Women’s Symposium.
Promote the Conference in the Catholic community.
Write acknowledgment letters and coordinate recognition of all sponsors.
Oversee event logistics and event planning vendor.
Identify and solicit sponsors for the Conference and donors for our student scholarships.
Manage the fundraising for and promotion of the Conference on Business and Ethics.
Community relations events.
E-blasts.
Social media options such as Facebook.
Website upgrades.
Publications and brochures (maybe Annual report, briefings, progress reports, etc).
Coordinate with Executive Director, Bishop's office and Bishop's chef on event details such as event location, menu, logistics (parking, florals, decorations, gifts) and speaking points. Manage outside vendors as required.
Work with a graphic designer to achieve the right look down.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Catholic Church terminology.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a marketing-related field is strongly preferred.
5+ years of demonstrated experience in business development, events organization and marketing.
Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication, and organizational skills
Flexible and willing to operate under tight timelines
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
Ability to manage numerous competing priorities, adapt quickly and with sound judgment to a variety of situations, and remain calm under pressure.
