Job Summary:
The Standard Missile 6 program has an immediate need for a Financial professional to join our team as a Principal Financial Analyst, Program Controls. The SM-6 program is a part of the Navel Shipboard Portfolio within Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) Production. The SM-6 program team is responsible for multiple, large DOD Prime production contracts. This role will require evaluation of high-level data and inputs provided by the team, with an emphasis on providing consistent analysis and support across multiple contracts in a contractually required earned value environment. Additionally, as the team lead, this role will focus heavily on stakeholder relations, team learning, development and process improvements used to enhance the efforts of the broader SM-6 Production Finance Team.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Management of earned value contracts, analysis of program performance, utilization of PRISM tools, assisting with Scope Review Boards, and Baseline Change Requests
Oversight of quarterly Estimate at Completion (EACs)
Development & Delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)
Interface with Control Account Managers, Program Management, the Integrated Product Leadership Team, and ensuring compliance with financial policies
Provide feedback, peer review, and input to finance work product of all types to help ensure appropriate messaging and focus
Provide training and mentoring to team members
Support review and forecast of Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash forecast to Financial Planning
Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions
Develop, utilize and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance team
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field
Typically requires 8 years finance/accounting work experience; OR an advanced degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years of experience.
Experience with data analysis, reporting and/or process improvement
Proven ability to work independently and with higher levels of management
Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, Analysis for Office, and/or PowerPoint
EVMS certification or ability to achieve EVMS Certification within 2 months of hiring
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Broad understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
