Remote Part-time Patient Services Representative - Support Team ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The Patient Services Representative Support Team role works alongside the Scheduling Center Patient Services Representatives to assist patients and their families to address needs and concerns over the phones. Individuals in this role must be prepared to offer excellent customer service when scheduling appointments, as well as during interactions with internal staff. Flexible schedules: including unique working hours requests can be accommodated. A person in this role is required to follow all Allegro Pediatrics policies and procedures; and must communicate a positive attitude, as well as maintain a positive working relationship with staff, managers, directors and physicians.

Responsibilities (included but are not limited to):

  • Answer phones and schedule appointments using current Practice Management system.
  • Route incoming calls to correct departments such as triage for nurses, submitting medical record requests or escalating complaints for feedback to appropriate individuals
  • Maintain a working knowledge of office equipment including (but not limited to): phone/headset technology and computers
  • Must maintain and protect confidentiality both patient and corporate (HIPAA).
  • Required to maintain updated knowledge of all workflow and process changes.
  • All company communications must be read by employee.
  • Must complete all mandatory trainings satisfactorily.
  • Ability to work a weekend and holiday rotation.
  • This is a part-time position (4 -5 hours per day)
  • Must have availability for 3 weeks of training at Allegro's main office in Bellevue
  • Must be a Washington State resident
  • Must be available to travel to Allegro's main office in Bellevue periodically
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to work safely and uninterrupted at home
  • Computer skills, including navigating multiple open tabs, systems and processes
  • Basic typing skills
  • Strong customer service and writing skills
  • Experience working in a call center (desirable but not required)
  • Applicants must comply with vaccine requirements including COVID-19
