Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist


Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a social media manager to oversee its multiple online platforms. The manager, working closely with the Marketing & Communications department, will be a communications professional experienced in creating content, communicating with an audience, and developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to achieve an organization’s goals, enhance service line growth and maintain a positive public image.

In addition to digital marketing experience, requirements for the position include excellent communication skills, creative thinking, the ability to supervise team members, good judgment and discretion, and strategic decision-making. Desired skill sets include data analysis, social media strategy, influencer marketing, client management, TikTok insights and trends, and crisis communications. Experience with Sprout Social and knowledge of Salesforce Social Studio are preferred.

Qualifications:

Degrees: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in public relations, communications, marketing or journalism. Must be detail oriented and have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with daily deadlines. A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in social media-related roles, including community management, agency management, and content strategy, in a marketing and communications environment. High-level understanding of social platforms, social media strategy, digital measurement, and social media and creative agency co-creation. Advanced conceptual, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
