Sales Development Representative

About the Role

FreeWill is seeking a Sales Development Representative to play an integral role in increasing our nonprofit partnerships across the country. As a company, we place a premium on learning and development to help propel careers. You will gain exposure to industry leaders and experienced mentors from diverse backgrounds, including sales, social entrepreneurship, and nonprofit development.

This role will need to work during general business hours which is typically 9-5pm EST or 7-3pm PST.

Please note: We are currently seeking SDR candidates who have experience and/or would feel comfortable working with faith based organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the FreeWill product and value proposition
  • Research, identify, and create new sales qualified leads (SQLs) for Account Executives
  • Build your own non-profit prospect lists (i.e. universities, animal shelters, faith based organizations, etc.) based on our ideal customer profiles within a designated geographic territory.
  • Become an expert in your target nonprofit sector/geographic region including a thorough understanding of different fundraising strategies
  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential non-profit partnerships
  • Methodically manage an accurate sales funnel to meet quarterly revenue goals
  • 0-1 year of experience in sales
  • Interest in joining a SaaS company that directly supports non-profit fundraising efforts
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities as part of an ever-growing sales team
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including in persuasion and objection handling
  • Excellent at working on teams and engaging with potential clients
  • Some experience with, or strong willingness to learn, sales databases and tools (such as Salesforce, Sales Navigator, and SalesLoft)
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
