In close collaboration with our field sales team; the Remote Sales team works closely with our clients to identify their needs and fulfil their sales requirements, offering an excellent bespoke service in order to retain our clients and build relationships.
  • Remotely sell Baxter's products within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Identify, develop, and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate.
  • Play a key role in the roll out of Customer Services platform within territory.
  • Be part of implementation of strategies and tenders within territory and assigned portfolio.
  • Provide feedback and marketing support on new products and services.
  • Provide education on the company's products and services.
  • Manage and respond to customer concerns and problems.
  • Arrange demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
  • Assist the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities. Provide on-going sales support including sales calls, data analysis, customer opportunities, and sales rep follow-up.
  • Translate the results of market insights into a clear prioritisation of sales action.
  • Lead price & contract negotiations to successfully close customer deals.
  • Deliver accurate product information and forecasting and participate in active supply chain management.
  • Conduct Regular Business Reviews with customers when appropriate.
  • Ensure repeat purchase orders by understanding and monitoring customer buying decisions and ordering patterns.
  • Collaborate with tender & contract departments on managing large scale tenders and the sales cycle of accounts.
  • Closely collaborate with Customer Service, Commercial Operations (Pricing) and Finance.

  • A degree in science, technology, medical or business related subject preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full clean driving license (travels to some key accounts in the future maybe required)
  • Ideally remote sales experience in High Tech environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills & the ability to close deals with customers
  • Strong presentation / communication skills over the phone
  • Optionally field sales experience or customer service experience in the Medical Devices industry
