Position Overview: Program Coordinator Description (18-month contract)

Arts Help is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our ambitious and growing team. Under direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Coordinator will support the COO and Executive team in data consolidation and management and quality management. The successful candidate will undertake Arts Help-related activities and implement appropriate monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems for successful delivery and attainment of educational program goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, organize and run community-based social programs and services
  • Develop e-learning programs, workshops, and various learning tools
  • Facilitate the development of the programs and activities, including exhibitions, activations, education curriculum, for in-person events and online through digital platforms
  • Book and identify speakers to deliver educational goals for in-person and online classes
  • Decide suitable strategies and objectives in developing, documenting, evaluating and monitoring curriculum and inter-connected projects daily
  • Recruit, interview, evaluate, hire, and onboard new program volunteers, create weekly schedules, approving timesheets, and executing annual evaluations
  • Coordinating cross-project activities
  • Identify and apply for grant and funding opportunities
  • Schedule program work, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program and set priorities for managing the program including events, operations, marketing, and development
  • Prepare reports on the progress of the project, including reports on the financial situation of the project
  • Coordinates outreach to underserved and underrepresented audiences, including liaising with community partner organizations
  • Maintain and initiate dialogue with the executive team
  • 3+ years experience in managing programs, events, exhibits, activities, teaching, or leading teams
  • Exceptional skills in communicating, organizing, collaborating, writing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Displays analytical and strategic thinking with a results-based orientation
  • Knowledge of management and leadership
  • Ability to perform a variety of specialized tasks related to results-based management, including support to design, planning and implementation of the program, managing data, and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to establish effective working relations in a multicultural team environment
  • Excellent supervisory, team-building and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, zoom, Asana, G-suite, Slack
  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates integrity by modelling the Arts Help values and ethical standards
  • Promotes the vision, mission and strategic goals of Arts Help
  • Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability
  • Bachelor degree in a related field, Master’s degree preferred
