Impact Support Role 🔥
Classroom Champions is seeking someone for a temporary, part-time contract role to support the Impact Team in several administrative duties, as outlined below. Classroom Champions offers a social and emotional learning (SEL) program that provides educators with turnkey K-8 SEL curricular resources by partnering students with Olympian, Paralympian, NCAA Student-Athlete, and professional athlete role models, while supporting teachers and engaging families.
This position will require you to fulfill 20 hours of work per week. Hours can be flexible as long as deadlines are met. This will be a 3-month contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Tracking and coordinating live video chats between athlete mentors and classes of students, including:
- Updating athlete availability in our scheduling system.
- Managing calendar invitations and Zoom/Meet/Teams video chat links.
- Tracking the collection of athlete availability, live chats scheduled, and live chats completed successfully.
- Being on call for troubleshooting with teachers and athletes.
- Opening up the Zoom link and staying on the call for the 30-minute chat when necessary.
Tracking and collecting assets for 2021-22 athlete mentors, including:
- B-roll
- Images
- Background checks
- Bios
Using collected assets to create athlete profile kits in Google Slides.
Using a template to create images for our Educator Dashboard in Canva.
Assisting the Impact Team with other various tasks as needed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Highly organized
- Self-motivated
- Eager to learn and solve problems as they arise
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Familiarity with video conferencing platforms
- Collaborative, with the ability to work with a diverse and remote team
- Flexible and eager to jump into a dynamic and passionate community
This position will report directly to the Director of Educational Programs and responsibilities may be subject to change.
Compensation will be $1300 per month.
