Overview

LendingUSA is seeking a Content Marketing Manager with 4+ years of digital and content marketing experience. You will be responsible for content strategy and content marketing freelancers in addition to developing, producing and distributing compelling, sticky content. Content includes e-books, whitepapers, blog posts, guest posts, infographics, videos, PR and more.

This role requires a high level of creativity, storytelling capabilities, attention to detail, and project management skills. Candidate must be self-starter, able to quickly learn and apply new knowledge in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The individual will be expected to steer the content marketing process from concept to production to performance measurement.

The ideal candidate will collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives in the most efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Create a robust content calendar, manage the editorial pipeline, and maintain relationships with other content creators.
  • Produce high-quality articles, press releases, case studies, sales content, presentation content, survey reports and web copy.
  • Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our companys tone and mission. You write clean, concise, well-polished copy.
  • Edit content produced by your freelancers, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects and overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing.
  • Develop relationships with key editors to increase the companys exposure and volume of mentions within their publications.
  • Produce, distribute and maintain engaging content on our social media channels.
  • Measure, analyze, and optimize performance of content across all outlets, including social, SEO content, and user acquisition funnels.
  • Continuously measure and improve content SEO performance; create reports leveraging Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and social media analytics tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges in order to build a more effective editorial calendar.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our products core benefits properly and consistently.
  • Interact with content specialists, graphic designers and internal team members to create and review all content & ensure a consistent message.
  • Develop standards, systems, and best practices for content ideation, creation, and distribution in addition to frequent testing of new content formats and distribution channels.
  • Management of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel.
  • Manage product design initiatives and website updates, ensuring all product development meets brand guidelines and creates a positive user experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of content marketing or direct copywriting experience.
  • Strong communication skills and financial writing experience preferred.
  • Excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills.
  • Clear understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Extreme attention to detail and hands on when it comes to writing/proofing content and managing campaigns.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends in online content marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively with counterparts in a cross-functional capacity.
  • Results-oriented; proven ability to prioritize, drive and achieve results and deadlines under time pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of content marketing strategy and channels.
  • Strong graphic design instincts and capabilities to guide a cohesive brand design through multiple pieces of content and web properties.
  • Knowledge of CMS/Wordpress, Analytics and SEO tools and Social Media Platforms.
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems, HTML, Marketo, and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
