Marketing Copywriter

Our internal BrandLab division is seeking a copywriter to grow our team in providing world-class, award-winning marketing solutions for clients. EnsembleIQ's BrandLab is a full-service strategic marketing and creative agency for retail, consumer brands, and omnicommerce solution partners. BrandLab reflects the evolution of B2B marketing — a convergence of a new vision, new creative approaches, and new technologies to better engage influential retail audiences and inspire them to take action for our clients. From bold brand ideation and go-to-market strategy to lead generation and immersive digital experiences, BrandLab delivers insight-driven marketing to form meaningful connections with brands and industry leaders. The role will work with some of EnsembleIQs largest clients on custom innovative media activations for our own brands, as well as externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to carry a creative project under tight deadlines from inception to final product, ensuring quality and style to meet strategy, design, copy, and engagement objectives
  • Persuasive, original, best-in-class copy for all types of marketing executions: digital and print advertising, email marketing, native and experiential content, thought leadership, corporate positioning, internal marketing collateral, even marketing, video, and more
  • Work with internal creative teams and VP of brand engagement to develop and communicate client marketing goals, messaging, and creative vision
  • Ability to write in different voices to suit client, audiences and media
  • Consistently bring new ideas to marketing strategy and creative output with a focus on innovation
  • Versatile to create compelling, award-worthy work for a variety of industries, with a special focus on major retail consumer brands, grocery and health products, business technology
  • Create internal pitch decks, marketing collateral and sales enablement assets
  • Direct, edit and proofread freelance copywriters
  • Stay up-to-date on latest trends, talent and competitive work

Job requirements

  • 5+ years experience in agency or in-house marketing environment
  • Experience and understanding of B2B retail, CPG, and business technology markets
  • Proven to be highly creative in integrated B2B marketing and content development
  • Thorough understanding of digital and print advertising, website design, information architecture, email marketings, interactive design, event marketing, and social media
  • Strong attention to detail, meticulous proofreading and version control
  • Serve as a partner to strategy and project management counterparts and support planning and development of creative and project briefs
  • Ability to organize and write compelling presentations with high-impact visuals
