JRNI Coaching is a coach training program and coaching community focused on helping coaches launch exceptional, one-of-a-kind coaching businesses they love and transform lives, on their terms.

This position’s primary focus is to create social media content and oversee management and growth of our various social media channels. This role will be directly supporting our Marketing department, collaborating with our Editor and content writer.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills who adores coaching/self improvement and wants to make a difference in the lives of our students.

This role is independent contractor, part-time and fully remote, work-from-home. As an independent contractor, the tasks required in this role fit into whatever schedule works best for you as part of a fully remote team.

Our dream Part-Time Social Media Manager is open to finding their own rhythm and creating a schedule that serves their life while aligning with the guiding principle of “until the job is done.”

Duties and Responsibilities



Our Part-Time Social Media Manager will be collaborating on content creation with our editorial lead, staying on top of our social media content calendar, assisting with scheduling and providing strong reporting on growth. Strong communication and proactivity are essential to this role!

This position requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Our ideal candidate is a kind, funny, thoughtful, creative and organized self-starter who will take initiative, bring clarity and keep everything running smoothly.

What you’ll do…

  • Love social media & self improvement
  • Work to promote JRNI’s social media personality/brand across all platforms
  • Collaborate with our editor on content creation, creating graphics, posts and stories, responding to comments, scheduling posts, and maintain the content calendar
  • Stay up-to-date on social media algorithm updates and emerging trends in order to improve subject matter, frequency, and timing of posts
  • Testing! You know that testing is the foundation of successful growth. You know not only HOW to test, but also WHAT to test
  • Develop goals and track performance to understand the efficiency of a campaign, making recommendations for optimizations and reporting out results

Skills and Abilities...

  • 2+ years of experience in social media for a consumer-facing brand
  • Creative production -- write, produce, and publish to all relevant channels with gusto, cleverness and heart.
  • Experience working across all the leading media channels, including; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Experience using scheduling tools for publishing and automation of content management.
  • Acute attention to detail, catching what could otherwise fall through the cracks.
  • Expand the company’s social strategy across multiple channels and incorporate thoughtful and well-reasoned plans for each channel.
  • Own the social content calendars to bring clarity and joy to the process.
  • Own social reporting and monitor performance, optimize content, and grow audiences.

Compensation and Hours:

This is a flexible, 20 hour a week, part-time, independent contractor role with the potential to grow into more. Compensation for this will begin at $20 per hour.
