Position Summary

Fearless Femme 100 is currently seeking a Part -Time Development/ Fundraiser Coordinator for our QBIPoC Peer Counseling Initiviative! BlPOC LGBTQIA+ are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate would love being part of an initiative that is developing its structure. Potential to be long term with benefits pending performance and funding. 

Responsibilities

The Development/ Fundraising Coordinator is a professional team member responsible for assisting with fundraising, programming, and development activities. 

Familiarity with Calendly, Asana, Zoom, Wix, Google Suite, Canva, and MailChimp are required. 

 Responsibilities will include:

  • Grant writing for several grant opportunities from foundations 
  • Lead the creation of a development program that grows FF100 ‘s  donor base, increases major gifts, and assembles a multi-tiered strategy using metrics 
  • Work with Project Director to create a robust private foundation giving program to support new opportunities that advance FF100’swork.
  • Consistently engage with FF100’s services in order to create inspiring donor appeals, targeted messaging and motivational content. 
  • Identify and implement new donor relations opportunities involving the project Director to cultivate larger gifts and advance Advisory Board development
  • Manage virtual and live fundraisers, prospect research, donor database management, gift processing and vendor invoicing.
  • Apply best-in-practice development strategies to all development work including, but not limited to, annual goal setting, donor segmentation, and social media marketing.
  • Work closely with the Communications Coordinator to collectively create new ideas and think through strategies to grow financial support and awareness for FF100/. 
  • Manage all office systems related to Development, including maintaining updated donor files, tracking spreadsheets, and  correspondence and gift acknowledgments.

 Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 year or more of relevant experience in Development/ Fundraising
  • Must be passionate about Queer and/or  Trans BIPoC Mental Health

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years of related experience or equivalent in training and experience, including project management skills, writing and editorial experience,
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in  public administration, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Professional experience in community development and/or economic development program planning and implementation.
  • Excellent research, writing, editing and analytical skills.
  • Experience developing and measuring program metrics
  • Strong organizational skills; efficient and detail-oriented.
  • Strong oral communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including competency in full Microsoft Office suite.

Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing a challenging workload.

  • Works collaboratively and effectively with a diverse range of individuals and organizations.
  • Commitment to the community development sector and the critical role of nonprofit organizations in driving inclusive economic development.
