Key Account Sales Specialist 🔥


BAPI is looking for a Key Account Sales Specialist.  This individual will work remotely. We prefer local candidates, but we are open to all exceptional candidates within the continental United States.

Position Summary:

The Key Account Sales Specialist (KAS) will serve as a primary contact for an assigned account, as well as identify potential customers. The KAS builds strong customer relationships and leverages all available assets to identify the appropriate BAPI product which best complements our customers business. This role will provide technical and sales support that will grow our business, which requires exceptional people skills, technical aptitude and “hunter” mentality.



This person must:

  • Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Positively collaborates with customers and continuously drives towards high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction, quickly establishing long-term relationships 
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Product Development to develop marketing strategies, assure availability of materials to support customers’ technical & manufacturing needs
  • Actively researches growth opportunities, developing a list of potential customers ~ making cold calls to potential customers, regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow-up on leads (minimum 10 hours/week)
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales professionally and effectively     



Requirements:

  • Associates Degree Required, Bachelors Preferred in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience required
  • Experience working with or selling electronics required, electronics in HVAC/R preferred
  • Financial understanding experience required
  • Demonstrated success in driving product initiatives where outcomes are paramount to the strategic differentiation of the overall business
  • Must possess strong meeting facilitation, interpersonal, ownership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm and cool in a fast-paced, high pressure work environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with demonstrated ability to communicate in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to learn on the job and solve problems
  • Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, focus, organization and a willingness to work toward defined goals
  • Must be very flexible and supportive of changing requirements

This position must be able to maintain level of sales to generate adequate revenue and develop market strategies to achieve goals



Working Conditions:

Physical surroundings:

Will work remotely from home office but when visiting company headquarters or customer sites ~ will work in a light industrial environment

Hazardous conditions requiring safety adherence or PPE equipment):

When applicable will be required to wear safety glasses and closed toe shoes in specific locations in the facility

Physical efforts (e.g. repetitive lifting, bending stooping, or other physical effort required):

Standing or sitting for most of the shift                                                    

Domestic/International Travel: Yes, approximately 25% - 30%



Extensive Hours:  Some Weekend, overnight and/or extended travel is required



An offer of employment is contingent upon the final candidate passing a criminal background check and a reference check process. 



This position offers a Monday through Friday dayshift schedule. BAPI does not offer evening shifts/schedules and we are closed on the weekends.  Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
