About the Role:

The Business Development Representative is the heartbeat of an organizations growth. They hunt, identify, and engage prospective clients to present and close new sales. This person is committed to learning new industries, understanding customers needs and challenges, and demonstrating solutions that meet those needs. This is not an account management role, but specifically new sales development. From identifying prospective clients to presenting solutions to closing the deal, this person loves the hustle and has a drive to win.

FTS houses a full suite of solutions such as FleetCam (smart dash cameras utilizing AI to put an extra set of eyes in a vehicle) and IntelliHub (real time vehicle tracking and management.) FTS is also home to RouteMatrix (technology to aid in efficient routing and dispatching of mobile operations) as well as other great technology products.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Leverage hunting and communication skills to find, engage, and close new opportunities
  • Contact both cold and pre-qualified prospects through phone, email, and social media strategies while maintaining high daily outbound activity (75+ calls per day)
  • Take a consultative approach to selling and closing your own opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and current records in sales CRM software
  • Meet daily and monthly activity and sales volume goals

Ideal Experience & Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enjoy collaborative and competitive environment
  • Ability to self-manage time and activity
  • Maintain a positive mental attitude- be friendly, enthusiastic, have a go-getter mindset
  • 2+ years of experience in similar role
  • Experience in GPS, logistics, or fleet related field preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
