Technical Support Manager - HVAC

We are looking for a Technical Support Manager to provide customer sales and warranty support at our Denver, Colorado branch located at 5757 E. 42nd Avenue, Denver, CO, 80216.
What we need from you:
- HVAC knowledge preferred but we will train the right candidate.
- High aptitude in the HVAC service and repair field.
- High School diploma or its GED equivalent and a Bachelors Degree in business or related field
- 5-10 years experience with business and related functions.
- 5-10 years providing technical product, sales and warranty support
- Ability to convey technical support in a clear, easily understood manner.
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
- High degree of personal ethics, customer service, and commitment to safety.
- Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently or with a group.
- Self-motivated.
- Possess a reliable vehicle and be insurable by our insurance company for the travel this position requires.

What will you be doing? Well keep you busy and teach you how to:
- Provide both pre-sale and post-sale training to customers and employees. This role manages cross functional work with other sales and support employees and may supervise other Technical Support employees.
- Responsible for understanding product application for equipment sold through the company.
- Provide ongoing sales support and supervises product and employee training as needed for Rheem, American Standard and Trane DSS/FRS support.
- Supports the communication of vendor product issues when necessary.
- Responsible for managing and submitting warranty claims and budgets by following vendor process, submitting labor claims, managing recalls and re-works, managing vendor concessions and overseeing warranty and extended warranty claims.
- Works with Product Manager and marketing staff to communicate service bulletins and alerts to all necessary personnel i.e., purchasing department, sales managers, territory managers, branch managers, corporate etc.
- Works in conjunction with Product Manager and purchasing department to coordinate parts stocking programs.
- Maintain proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to jobs, or other job & office functions and requirements.
