The Marketing Specialist’s primary responsibilities include working to effectively advertise properties across multiple platforms. The Marketing Specialist will support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director in creating, posting, and auditing property listings on the Internet Listing Services, website directories, and social media. They will help create reports that analyze campaign performance and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
This job requires strong attention to detail, time management, and critical thinking skills. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment is essential.
The Marketing Specialist will work alongside the marketing team to respond to customer reviews and comments, strong written communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
· Pull and analyze weekly lead reports for asset managers
· Monitor and respond to customer reviews on various platforms (Google My Business, Yelp, Facebook, etc)
· Post, audit, and update apartment listing on a corporate website, Craigslist, and Facebook
· Perform frequent audits of property listings on Apartments.com, Zumper, and other ILS’
· Manage Google My Business accounts and listings
· Create and implement social content calendar and execute weekly social media posts
· Update corporate and property websites when needed
· Help keep project workbooks, process documents, and advertising trackers accurate and up to date
· Assist with monitoring advertising contracts for renewal and expiration and occasionally communicating with representatives to request updates
· Assist in producing marketing materials upon request
· Assist in conducting market studies and running rent comp reports
Position Requirements
· Bachelor’s in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or similar field
· 1-2 years of marketing or communications experience
· Ability to work independently on repetitive, simultaneous tasks with tight deadlines while consistently providing high quality, accurate work product
· Strong written communication skills, including persuasive writing, editing and proofreading
· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
· Positive attitude and strong customer service
