The Curriculum (Your Role):We are looking for a Google Sheets/Spreadsheets guru to work closely with the Seesaw Community Team. You get excited when looking at data and are passionate about finding better ways to collect it, clean it up, analyze it, and organize it. This role will involve creating spreadsheets, importing CSVs from multiple sources, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data using tools in Google Sheets. You will compare and reference large data sets across multiple sheets and compare changes week over week.
Your Classmates (The Team):The Community Team at Seesaw is a team of three. You will work closely with all members and an additional data contractor.
Subject Matter (Your Responsibilities):
- Work with large data sets to create spreadsheets that are clean, filtered, and organized.
- Analyze data to provide week over week progress and growth reports.
- Prepare data sheets for bulk upload into existing systems.
- Troubleshoot data errors and ideate new ways to import data into existing systems.
- Manage multiple Google Sheets, and quickly implement formulas to make clean up, organizing, filtering, and cross-checking a breeze
Prerequisites (The Requirements):
- Prior work experience that required you to create, import, and clean large sets of data in Google Sheets on a weekly basis.
- You have experience with reference functions, using import range, and know the difference between absolute and relative references in Google.
- You can independently create and work with various Google Sheets reference functions such as v-lookups, count-if, unique, and more.
- You have deep knowledge of Google Sheets, importing CSVs, cleaning data, and cross-checking data over multiple sources.
- You are detail-oriented, organized, and can figure out solutions when faced with a challenge.
- You can create spreadsheets that allow for filtering, sorting, and analyzing trends.
