Lead or Senior organizer: Wall Street Accountability Team 🔥

United for Respect (UFR) is seeking a Lead or Senior level Organizer (depending on experience) to join its high-impact national field team and help grow and advance the leadership of working people in the retail industry and win game-changing campaigns for an inclusive economy that provides family-sustaining jobs.

Through online-to-offline organizing, UFR organizers play a key role in rapidly building strong worker leadership that will activate a broad base and advance integrated workplace justice campaigns that move policymakers and low-wage employers to elevate working conditions and standards resulting in access to  good jobs for people working in retail. Through our Wall Street Accountability campaign, we engage and activate a broad network of people who work in retail owned by private equity in order to raise industry standards and hold Wall Street corporations responsible for the destruction of family-supporting jobs.

About UFR

UFR [1] is a national organization building an industry voice of working people working for the country’s largest retail corporations. Through scaled leadership development and base-building, UFR’s growing network is challenging major corporations and policymakers to provide family‐sustaining jobs for all working people. We leverage technology — social media and our digital platform, WorkIt [2] — and bring the retail workforce into a shared community of support and advocacy.
