Experiential Marketing Manager - London
As an Experiential Marketing Manager, you will join our growing Experiential Marketing tea and own end-to-end planning and implementation of field marketing events and webinars. You will be based in the UK and will join a high-performing, dynamic team responsible for developing roadmaps and marketing strategy to drive sales and pipeline growth within the EMEA region. Reporting into the Corporate Marketing department, we’re looking for a skilled experiential marketer who's passionate about partnering with sales teams to carry out a multi-faceted plan to drive pipeline growth.
Responsibilities:Â
- Own end-to-end planning, implementation, and measurement of field events and webinars (both live and on-demand) that educate, engage and inspire LaunchDarkly’s target audiences in EMEA to increase awareness and drive demand, adoption, and expansion.
- Run end-to-end management (both virtual and in-person when safe to do so), including planning and operations from pre to post, identifying venues/software platforms, vendor management, full project management, creative branding, logistics, partner integration, onsite management, internal communication, and post-event evaluation.
- Build close partnership with Sales stakeholders and have a deep understanding of how marketing works together with sales to drive business growth.
- Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Platform & Partnerships, and Communications teams to develop messaging, collateral, and CTAs for field marketing programs and webinars.
- Partner with the Demand Generation team on pre- and post-event campaign promotion and follow up.
- Project Management: organized planning and process management, tracking, and ability to drive accountability
- Measurement: ability to manage projects on time, on budget with controlled set of resources, and leverage operations tools to track campaign and sales activity for predictable pipeline building. Familiarity with marketing and sales automation systems such as Marketo and Salesforce.
Basic Qualifications:Â
- 3+ years of experience of event marketing or event-based field marketing
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a deep understanding of how marketing works together with sales to drive business growth.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Have region-specific knowledge (EMEA region)
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Marketo (or similar marketing automation tools)
- Comfortable traveling ~30% of the time (when it’s safe to do so again)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have a BA or BS degree
- SaaS B2B experience is preferred
- Familiarity with the software delivery and DevOps space
- Bonus points for experience with marketing to developers
