Who We Are

Twitter’s Corporate Security Team (CorpSec) is seeking an experienced analyst who will play a pivotal role in protecting employees with a high risk profile and supporting high risk/high profile travel and events globally.  This position is ideal for someone with demonstrated analytical experience, crisis management credentials, and significant international security experience.  The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally as the role requires close collaboration with work partners within and outside of CorpSec.

This position will work on CorpSec’s Special Security Support Team (S3) and can be based in any Twitter Office or work remotely.





Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Support analytical and intelligence efforts for the S3 Team, including support for operations in the United States and internationally. 

  • Coordinate closely with threat monitoring and investigations teams to analyze and report on relevant threats, informing the S3 Team’s security posture.

  • Design a process to conduct and maintain executive risk assessments.

  • Travel with the S3 Team to provide intelligence support and expertise; assist in managing logistics and communications for executive travel and high risk / high profile events.

  • Coordinate ongoing intelligence monitoring needs for Twitter events, executives, employees, etc.

  • Provide intelligence support and incident coordination / crisis management efforts in response to security incidents impacting executives or Twitter events.

  • Work with internal investigative and analytical teams and outside intelligence vendors to ensure CorpSec has the right tools and processes in place to support operations.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant international law enforcement organizations, NGOs, industry peers, and government partners.

  • Ensure training is provided to CorpSec team members and business partners relevant to intelligence support, executive protection, and events.   

Take responsibility for the portions of the CorpSec’s crisis management plan involving executive protection





Qualifications

Who You Are

  • A leader with the ability to adapt to a unique corporate culture and effectively balance international security issues with Twitter values.

  • A fast learner, with the ability to support operations and also contribute to strategic projects and priorities.

  • An analytical expert who can help CorpSec improve its intelligence capabilities and reduce risk to the company’s executives

  • An expert in open source research and geo-political risk assessments (and the technology needed to lead these functions)

  • Someone who has a proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and is comfortable using a variety of technology tools to communicate.

  • Someone who is ready to travel in the US and internationally to support CorpSec and the S3 Team’s mission.

  • Someone who can prioritize effectively and drive projects to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree is preferred; however, relevant work experience would also be accepted.

  • 10 plus years of experience in an analytical, intelligence, military, or law enforcement role.

  • Fluency in multiple languages is desirable.

  • Willingness and ability to travel on short notice in support of CorpSec operations.

  • Possession of a valid passport with no travel restrictions.
