Senior Social Media Designer Responsibilities
- Support art directors in developing creative storytelling concepts and design solutions for programs including but not limited to brand and social creative
- Create engaging designs to enhance the brandβs social presence
- Partner closely with brand and social team to understand the strategy and direction of the brand and social platforms, to ensure creative meets team objectives and vision
- Support art directors and social team to drive creative content testing to learn what most resonates with the audience across both organic and paid content
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including internal creative team and Brand & Social Marketing program owners on development of assets and ensure brand consistency
- 5+ years previous design experience
- 2+ yearsβ experience in social media industry
- Good understanding of social media: organic vs paid
- Experience in social media content, GIFs, video and motion graphics
- Proficiency in all social media platforms, best practices and trends
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience in retail brands and integrated omnichannel marketing (social experience is required + some working experience with email, web, in store and direct mail)
- Experience working on large, national brand campaigns is a plus
- Must have a solid design portfolio with social and digital work examples
