The Executive Assistant/Trustee Liaison is an integral team member providing high-level administrative support to both the Massachusetts Chapter State Director and Board of Trustees. Responsibilities include supporting the State Director’s administrative affairs and manage scheduling, expense reporting, travel arrangements, meetings logistics, communications, and project and report coordination. They are also responsible for all aspects of planning, organizing, and maintaining budgets for trustee events, disseminating important information, assembling Trustee meeting materials, monitoring the trustee website, coordinating the on-boarding and orientation of new Trustees, planning and coordinating meetings for the Board’s committees, taking meeting minutes, and other Trustee-related administrative duties. The EA/Trustee Liaison will also work with others to write a variety of external communications such as reports and proposals.
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience or equivalent combination as well as strong organizational skills, experience organizing/managing meetings, and experience managing diverse activities under deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and experience working across teams and communicating tactfully with a wide range of people.
