About the Sales and Outreach Associate Role:

Are you a goal-oriented sales pro? Are you motivated by continued learning and improving your sales techniques? Do you want to change the world? The Sales Outreach Associate is a vital piece of our outreach strategy, implementing key components of our sales funnel to support our goal of securing qualified NGO partners to participate in our world-class trainings. This position supports our overall lead generation strategy, reporting directly to our Digital Marketing Strategist. As the face and voice representing Street Business School, this role is pivotal in presenting our world-class brand and programs to the world.

Responsibilities for SBS Outreach Associate

·       Support Marketing and Communication (MarComm) team on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts.

·       Develop an understanding of SBS communication platforms and lead tracking infrastructure

·       Track new leads through the sales funnel, while managing exhausted leads

·       Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and partnership (sales) opportunities.

·       Be the first point of contact for new partner prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving along the sales funnel.

·       Maintain a self-starter attitude while building new lead lists through marketing research.

·       Anticipate new lead needs by conducting organization research. Effectively identify the appropriate SBS offering based on lead organization’s needs, size and ability to implement the SBS program within their communities.

·       Ability to nurture relationships throughout the sales process and achieve goal conversion and close rates.

·       Collaborate with MarComm team by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting,

·       Able to “manage up” and provide weekly sales updates to supervisor.

·       Attend in-person and virtual conferences to make in-person introductions and generate new leads.

Qualifications for SBS Outreach Associate

·       Flawless communication skills, both written and oral

·       Public speaking and presentation experience

·       Successful track record of achieving sales goals

·       Working knowledge of the CRM/lead tracking software or the ability to learn new software quickly (Salesforce experience is a plus)

·       Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as being a productive and collaborative team member, making outbound calls/emails every day

·       Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects

·       Have experience using the LinkedIn conversation tool or other similar prospecting applications.

·       Comfortable using all communication messaging apps including but not limited to: Skype, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram DM

·       Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment

·       Thorough understanding of brand awareness to successfully establish rapport with prospects. Ability to professionally represent the SBS brand across multiple communication channels.

·       Must love collaborating with team members from other departments in a supportive and empowering office culture

·       Flexible schedule to conduct calls across global time zones based on territory and sales goals
