HumanFirst closed a Series A round of funding led by Maverick Ventures, participation from Lux Capital, Threshold Ventures, Arkitekt Ventures, Boost VC, SV Angel, Village Global, and more than 30 angel investors. This investment brings HumanFirst’s total funding to $15M since the company’s inception.
We’re looking for a research teammate to join us full time to scale the HumanFirst core product, Atlas, which supports pharma, biotech and hospital systems using wearables and connected sensors to measure health at home. You will be joining a small, growing, seasoned team on the ground floor.Â
This research teammate will be responsible for synthesizing data from multiple sources of evidence and developing clinically-relevant frameworks to categorize safe and effective connected technologies.
HumanFirst is a distributed team. Team members are encouraged to work from home or a co-working space anywhere in the United States.
What you will do:
- Lead literature reviews and data synthesis from peer-reviewed papers, clinical trials and regulatory decisions for entry into the Airtable database and for display in the Atlas product. (40%)
- Conceptualize and implement ontology frameworks to support Atlas customers in appropriate measurement and product selection of hardware and software components. (30%)
- Create and enforce standards for effective data management to ensure quality Atlas data to rapidly meet evolving customer needs. (30%)
What you have:
- 3+ years of research experience in academic or pharmaceutical industry setting
- Experience working within large databases or data sets (i.e Airtable, Redcap or Excel)
- Critical thinking skills to maintain big picture strategic view while focusing on the detailsÂ
- Comfort in pivoting priorities and moving quickly to meet variable customer demands
- Strong communication skills to be successful in working autonomously, and collaboratively in a small, dynamic team
- Low ego and high EQ: no job should be too small for the ideal candidate
- A proven track record of being a motivated self-starter with time management and organizational skills to juggle competing priorities (previous experience working remotely, a huge plus!)
- Practical knowledge of connected sensors, including engineering solutions or research applications is a plus
- U.S. Work Authorization
- Full overlap availability Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 2 PM PT (12 PM - 5 PM ET).
