Social Media Copywriter 🔥
Social Media Copywriter Responsibilities:
- Develop creative storytelling concepts, copy direction, innovative ideation and creative solutions for programs including, but not limited to, brand and social creative
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including internal creative team, agencies, and Brand & Social Marketing program owners
- Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions with the larger team, contributing new and innovative ideas to help elevate brand perception and affinity
- Consult on omnichannel programs as the creative expert for brand, social and video, giving creative feedback and guidance to agencies and writers based on brand- and social-first thinking to enhance the brand’s social presence
- Partner with the Brand & Social Marketing team to understand the strategy and direction of the brand and social platforms and to ensure creative meets team objectives and vision
Social Media Copywriter Requirements:
- 6–9 years’ copywriting experience
- 5+ years’ experience in the social media industry
- Retail experience with social media is a MUST
- Robust experience in social media content and writing a must
- Deep understanding of social media, including evergreen (organic) and paid, plus performance metrics
- Experience working on large, national brand campaigns is a plus
- Proficiency in all social media platforms, best practices and trends
- Rich experience in retail brands and integrated omnichannel marketing (some experience with email, web, in-store and direct mail also required)
- Self-starter, but also a team player
