Description

  • Schedule - PT Weekends/Evenings - 20-30 hrs /week

  • Pay Range - $30 $35/hr



Seeking a Social Community Editor to join the Network social team. This is a part-time role (starting at 20 hours per week - subject to increase in the next few months) that will handle moderating and answering fan questions during live segments on the Network app during off-hours, weekends and holidays. Potential hours needed on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.



The ideal candidate is a strong writer who is obsessed with grammar, spelling and punctuation. A creative individual with a passion for the food world is a plus.

Candidates that show promise in certain areas may end up assisting with other initiatives.



Duties And Responsibilities



  • Monitor, respond to and moderate comments that come through the live Q&A section of the Network app
  • Work with social editors, culinary editors and video producers to ensure that copy is accurate and consistent with our style
  • Communicate with producers and culinary moderators to ensure questions are going to the most appropriate person during the lives
  • Share community feedback, identify potential issues and manage day-to-day responses, as well as strategize for long-term issue management



  • Knowledge, Skills And Abilities



  • Active and engaged participant in social media (provide links)
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, their users and best practices (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Google+, etc.)
  • Savvy and knowledgeable about current social media trends and innovations
  • Solid understanding of digital content, communication and marketing principles
  • Superb verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively, and on-brand, with consumers, in-house stakeholders and outside vendors
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate and work effectively with multiple teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects
  • Solution-oriented/problem solver
  • Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must have social media and/or community management experience
