Outline Of Essential Job Responsibilities



Provides imaging-related tasks, and procedures. Performs deployments (technical installations) using remote deployment tools following an installation script. Documents customer and/or field technician interaction in the ticketing system and escalates according to established standard operating procedures. Also, reviews requests, contact customers to clarify the request, ensuring all necessary information is included, and may route requests to the appropriate department. Provides support to field technicians. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Relies on instructions, installation scripts, and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Must be able to work with little or no supervision. This position is located at our Fishers, Indiana headquarters



Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Packing, picking, and shipping experience required.
  • Experience in providing end-user phone support for PC Desktop and Hardware troubleshooting.
  • Technical writing ability and using call ticketing software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of networking and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting skills and direct focus on the source(s)of problems to quickly and effectively solve the problem.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and in a likable manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Minimal-Moderate knowledge of Internet circuits and typical business-class broadband connectivity is a plus.
  • Must be independent, motivated worker, an innovative self-starter. Must be confident and flexible.
  • Ability to follow procedures and policies under all circumstances.
  • Strong skills in time management and scheduling as well as related software.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS



Knowledge & Work Experience:
  • Experience supporting Windows 7 and Windows 10 desktop PCs
  • Prefer Comp TIA A+ or equivalent certification
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing the hardware on desktop PCs
  • Experience installing software, patches, updates on desktops
  • Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, and printing problems
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills



Compensation



Starting at $15 an hour depending on experience and technical aptitude.



Netfor offers a great PTO plan (can accrue up to 76.96 hours/year within the first year), 401k, health insurance, dental, optical, onsite mini-mart, and occasional onsite meals and activities, great outdoor walking trails, onsite video games.



HOURS



Full Time-evening shift 12:30 pm-9 pm Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
