Engagement Description - A brief description of the project or initiative. Include:
Support the payroll team with daily operations as we transition to a new payroll system. Primary tasks will include; preparing different payroll inputs, reviewing data audits, performing validations for the bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all work performed. You may also be asked to perform other payroll tasks, including, but not limited to, assisting with validating payroll data between legacy payroll system PeopleSoft, and future payroll system Oracle Cloud.
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience – The most important must-have skills. Include:
• Position 3 to 7 years of payroll processing experience
• Experience with complex rules and different payroll systems
• Quick learner and able to work remotely
• Onsite work will be required
Required Skills/Experience – The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
• Experience with multi-state payroll
• Knowledge of wage and hourly laws
• Proficient in MS Excel including advanced formulas functions (Vlookups, Pivot tables, IF statements)
• Experience with federal, state, local statutory requirements
• Experience working with remote and distributed teams
• Provide excellent customer service to our employees and partners
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll and other employee personal information
• Work with internal staff and vendors to ensure HR, Benefits and Payroll changes are processed, accurate funding occurs for all accounts, tax remittance, general ledger balancing, month-end close support is completed
Preferred Skills/Experience – Optional but preferred skills/experience. Include:
• Payroll Implementations
• Problem Solving
• Working knowledge with PeopleSoft Payroll
• Working knowledge with Oracle Cloud (Fusion) Payroll
Education/Certifications – Include:
• Bachelors preferred, years of experience will be considered
• Payroll certification preferred, but not required
