The objective of the IT Support Manager is to develop and oversee support systems, procedures, protocols, and personnel in a dynamic and growing organization. The IT Support manager’s primary responsibility is to ensure that users receive courteous, professional, effective customer-centric support of IT requests, and to resolve technology issues in an expedient manner..





 

Responsibilities:

 

• Own all aspects of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Support, including supporting remote staff, white-glove VIP support, and after-hours on call escalation for critical issues.

• Own the resolution process from initial contact with the user to resolution of the incident, problem or service request.

• Execution of industry leading high touch customer service across a broad, diverse portfolio of products, solutions, and services.

• Oversee incident, problem, and service request resolution regardless of the party performing the work, i.e., if the work is performed by 3rd party, this position is still responsible overseeing solution delivery and issue resolution.

• Establish rapport with business units and ensure end user satisfaction with support delivery.

• Act as a point of escalation for client issues, bringing issues to resolution

• Act as a liaison between with third-party service providers, vendors, and contractors as they relate to technical operations of IT Systems.

Education, Experience and Key Competencies:

 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher education is required.

• Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred

• Five years of support experience as well as two year of leadership responsibility

• Success in people management of professional staff with varying levels of skill and development

• Strong skills in process, documentation, and change management.

• Working knowledge with Microsoft, MAC, Desktop/Laptops, networking, and A/V equipment.

• High degree of accuracy, organization and communication skills, detailed oriented and strong team player.

• Ability to grasp new technologies, provide recommendation, and implement.

• Working knowledge of ITIL concepts.

• Experience working with offshore outsourced service providers is a plus.

• Experience with financial industry technology is a plus.

• Experience in leading a helpdesk/technical support team who support a wide range of mobile devices, on-prem and cloud technologies.

• Ability to be on-call 24/7 for Major Incident Response

• Willing to work after-hours nights and weekends minimally as required.
