About the Position:

Joyride's mission is to create a healthier and more sustainable world with revolutionary beverage. We are excited to expand our marketing team and hire our first Marketing Specialist. They will be responsible for executing and managing both National and East Coast marketing activities. They are a brand building and a lead generating champion for Joyride! They will plan and manage the execution of National marketing activities and events while also assisting our New York and Boston teams with local marketing efforts. They will identify and manage event opportunities with the goal to generate leads. They will look for local marketing partnerships and possible promotions. The Marketing Specialist is also the main point of contact for our local brand partner teams in the market. Strong communication skills, commitment and love for our mission and products, and attention to detail is a must.

What You'll Do:
  • Support and assist the Marketing Director with National lead generation, product launches, promotions, customer retention activities, PR, brand awareness activities and brand partnerships
  • Plan and manage the execution of all National marketing activities to drive leads/sales and increase brand awareness
  • Assist East Coast sales team with ad hoc marketing requests and customer account marketing activities
  • Own and/or provide the necessary support for identifying, planning, and executing trade shows and events within the National and East Coast market
  • Create and maintain reports on marketing activities and prepare dashboards representing the ROI of them
  • Own assigned marketing and/or events budgets and assist with national budget maintenance
  • Maintain careful records using company systems including our CRM, Salesforce
  • Support the sales team on product demos and tasting events, when needed
  • Prepare and maintain Sales team's support materials online and in the office, including samples, tasting and marketing materials, etc.
  • Maintain, support, and audit CRM and sales and marketing systems databases, ensuring data integrity
  • Develop your understanding of coffee and nonalcoholic craft beverage from sourcing and growth to roasting and brewing
  • Solicit and digest customer feedback and requests to identify areas for internal improvement
What's Required:
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing in a fast moving organization
  • Bachelor's degree; Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred

  • Ability to travel to local trade shows or offsite events on a regular basis through the use of personal vehicle or public transit; ability to travel overnight to assigned markets at least once per quarter
  • Excellent record keeping and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills including Google Documents and Sheets (Excel); prior experience with a CRM (especially Salesforce) or e-marketing tools a plus
  • Strong phone, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and remote management strongly preferred
  • Entrepreneurial hands-on work attitude with strong program execution skills

  • A love for coffee, craft beverage, and great office culture required; a love of dogs a plus
