Marketing Designer, Goodhire


We're looking for a Marketing Designer to join our rapidly-growing company where you'll be responsible for creating and designing assets with high visual impact that also ensure brand consistency across all marketing and customer-facing communications.

In this newly-created position, you will play an integral role on our small but agile marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, you will use your creative talents to produce high impact digital and print designs that engage prospects and customers, tell compelling stories, and drive business results.

Your responsibilities will include designing and producing assets that incorporate the Company's existing brand and visual identity; managing the marketing projects pipeline to ensure project deadlines are met on-time and on-budget; and managing external resources in support of the team's content requirements.

This is a full-time remote employee position. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Design and produce key assets and marketing collateral consistent with the Company's brand and visual identity for digital and mobile platforms as well as more traditional B2B collateral, including social media images, illustrations and graphics; print and digital promotional materials; email and other web-based graphics; digital ads; case studies; datasheets; and slide presentations
  • Create new template designs for the marketing website and partner with our UX team on projects
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to take written and verbal briefs to create concepts, layouts, and designs
  • Deliver a notable volume of production work, with the opportunity to work on more conceptual projects over time
  • Be responsible for actively tracking and managing projects as well as manage the archiving of design and marketing files
  • Manage outside freelance designers and agencies, ensuring that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget
  • Reformat and resize existing images, logos, ads and other miscellaneous artwork, as well as various production tasks as assigned
YOU'LL BE A FANTASTIC MATCH FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU:
  • Have 3+ years of design experience, showing increasing levels of responsibility and complexity of assignments. Agency experience not required, but a plus
  • Through your portfolio, demonstrate a range of work across media and content types, and the ability to creatively solve design problems and develop assets that meet business/marketing objectives
  • Understand corporate branding, layout, color theory and typography in both print and digital mediums, and are able to work within an established design style guide to create consistent, on-brand visuals. Must have a working knowledge of setting up files for print
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoShop
  • Possess a working understanding of digital and mobile design best practices, including ways design can help drive conversion rate optimization
  • Possess solid project management skills, including the ability to coordinate team members and external resources to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Follow creative direction, maintain brand standards and work both collaboratively and independently; must have time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects in parallel, often under tight turnarounds and with shifting priorities
  • Demonstrate good organization and communication skills, teamwork, resourcefulness, accountability and outstanding attention to detail
DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms is a plus
  • Experience with WordPress is a plus
  • Video editing experience is a plus
