About the role:Grand Rounds is currently hiring one Product Marketing Manager - Customer Acquisition to join our team at one of our corporate offices or remotely. This is a strategic GTM-focused marketing role. We are looking for a talented self-starter with experience working cross-functionally on high impact projects with tight timelines. In this role, you will work side-by-side with our sales team to deeply understand our prospects’ needs during live sales processes. You will deliver strategic content that demonstrates our competitive advantages and position us effectively in competitive sales processes. In addition, you will collaborate with our strategic partnerships team to build relationships with our partner community in order to expand our pipeline of potential clients. Your efforts will help the go-to-market teams move prospects through the sales funnel and exceed our annual revenue goals.You know how to wield data and analysis to tell a crisp, compelling story. You have the skills to diagnose our prospects’ complex business challenges and formulate compelling content that demonstrates our value proposition and convinces our prospects to trust your recommendations. You will be responsible for augmenting our product value story through insightful analysis and content that you deliver to our key prospects and partner groups. By leveraging our proprietary data, market research, clinical knowledge, and established positioning and packaging, you will build out a set of tools, analyses and reports that the sales team can implement at key points in their sales discussions. Most importantly, you will continuously improve and build out your content as the market evolves and you become more familiar with our clients, prospects, and strategic partners. Your efforts will increase our market opportunity, accelerate our sales cycles and ensure that companies purchase the right services to achieve their population health goals. All the while, you will strengthen our credibility within the market set through robust and insightful contributions to the sales team.The position requires sound analytical ability but is ultimately about effective marketing, communication, strategy and relationship-building both internally and externally. We are a small team in a scaling organization and you will have an opportunity to create instant and lasting impact. You will collaborate across our marketing, product, clinical and go-to-market teams to refine our narrative into punchy, insightful content that the sales team can wield in their live opportunities. Expect a steady flow of special projects, as well.

In Your First 30 Days:

  • Onboard with our product, marketing, go-to-market and clinical teams
  • Ground yourself in a deep understanding of our teams, products and services
  • Learn the current and historical approaches to our positioning, packaging and pricing strategies

In Your First 60 Days:

  • Shadow the sales and strategic alliances leaders in prospect meetings and learn how to effectively communicate with different types of stakeholders in the health benefits buying process
  • Learn our unique SWOT associated with the narratives, tools, content and analyses that we provide in sales processes today
  • Work with manager to jointly develop collateral for key prospects and potential upsells

In Your First 90 Days:

  • Work side-by-side with sales directors to develop and execute marketing materials and presentation collateral for key prospects and potential upsells
  • Collaborate with our strategic alliances team to communicate better with partners and grow new distribution channels

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep perspective on our prospect landscape
  • Build, maintain and expand a suite of market-facing materials and tools that 1) nurture prospects toward a transaction and 2) build relationships with strategic partners
  • Become a key ambassador for our prospects and partners -- someone who deeply understands their needs and can advocate for them when the opportunity arises
  • Commit to deeply understanding our prospects’ patient needs as well so that we ensure that we deliver value and improve outcomes for our end users
  • Ensure that the Sales team is current on our latest product positioning and packaging

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working on client-facing projects that required thoughtful and strategic narrative work (marketing, consulting, banking, private equity, venture capital)
  • Strong analytical ability and exceptional strategic instincts
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to package findings into market-facing collateral in a crisp, thoughtful and persuasive manner
  • Sound business judgement and problem framing
  • Superior storytelling skills to weave a compelling visual narrative
  • Enthusiastic collaborator who is able to effectively work across teams with many different stakeholders
  • Deep interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to balance and execute multiple projects concurrently
  • Desire and ability to succeed in a demanding, creative, and entrepreneurial environment
