Responsibilities
As a Resource Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding consumers through the enrollment process, ensuring they are informed about the full range of Qualified Health Plan (QHP) options and insurance affordability programs. Your duties include:
Providing consumers with fair, accurate, and impartial information to assist them in submitting a Marketplace eligibility application.
Clarifying distinctions among health coverage options, including QHPs, and helping consumers make informed decisions during the health coverage selection process.
Coordinating communication between various components of the AR Medicaid program.
Developing and maintaining working relationships to meet contract deliverables of specialty area projects.
Utilizing a project-tracking database to document and monitor services/activities and compiling a comprehensive database of activity.
Maintaining accurate statistical data to meet contractual and other reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Two years' experience within the healthcare arena and customer relations. Thorough understanding of Behavioral and Mental Health (preferred).
Requirements
Internet: Reliable, high-speed wireless internet service (WiFi).
An upload speed of at least 2Mbps is required to support software functionality.
