Customer Service/support - Remote

As a Customer Service/Support Specialist in the field of Logistics, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our Operations, Finance, Business Partners, Customers, and Sales Team. Your mission will be to handle customer inquiries, provide resolutions, and contribute to the improvement of our company's productivity and brand representation.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries with care and professionalism, providing effective resolutions.

Policy Feedback: Contribute insights for the formulation of new policies and improvements to existing ones.

Productivity Enhancement: Collaborate with various teams to enhance overall productivity.

Brand Representation: Ensure our brand is properly represented in all interactions.

Project Support: Participate in various projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Attend regular interdepartmental meetings and work closely with other departments on process improvements.

Office Duties: Assist in general office duties, including routing incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, filing, and handling various administrative tasks.

Finance & Admin Responsibilities

Set up new customer accounts and process credit applications.

Establish customer payment terms, up to NET30.

Receive and process customer purchase orders.

Enter sales orders and handle daily invoicing.

Assist in accounts with past due balances and collections.

Process credit card payments and handle daily batching.

Run and email customer statements.

Provide support for yearly audits.

Manage offsite document storage, shredding, and organize year-end file changeovers.

Order and restock office and kitchen supplies.

Logistics And Supply Chain Responsibilities

Check inventory stock and coordinate with Production or Supply Chain.

Determine the need for expediting orders based on customer needs.

Manage inventory levels in external warehouses.

Obtain shipment quotes, negotiate fee rates, and schedule replenishment shipments.

Maintain logistics calendar and coordinate customer shipments.

Ensure accurate paperwork matching for invoice posting.

Troubleshoot and find solutions in case of shipping issues.

Prepare customs documentation for exports.

Customer Service/Sales Support Responsibilities

Perform data entry related to point of sales and account updates in CRM.

Manage customer communications and administrative requests.

Validate customer product version requests according to portfolio and regulations.

Conduct inventory counts of promotional items.

Coordinate yearly calendar orders and shipments.

Cross-train across different territories and provide backup support for fellow team members.

Distribute sales leads to the appropriate Area Managers and Business Partners.

Fulfill all other administrative duties to support Inside Sales as needed or assigned, including receptionist duties.

Assist in organizing Blaser sales and Blaser College events.

Performance Indicators

Your success in this role will be assessed based on your ability to excel in customer service, support key teams, contribute to policy enhancements, and maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
