Operations Manager, 10 Hr/wk, Remote, Massachusetts Resident
New England Justice for Our Neighbors, a Massachusetts-based immigrant legal aid non-profit, seeks an experienced part-time Operations Manager to join our small team. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Operations Manager will take a lead role in several areas, including Marketing/Communications, Compliance, Events, Clinic Operations, and Special Projects. The Operations Manager will also participate in financial discussions, research and implement new technology/tools, assist with reporting of various types, and keep our remote organization digitally organized. New England Justice for Our Neighbors is a growing and changing organization. The person filling this newly-created role will carry out a wide range of tasks and will have significant impact on our success.
The Operations Manager position is a 10-hour per week role with a large amount of flexibility. It may be a good fit for someone with caregiver, academic, or other responsibilities who is looking for meaningful, remote, part-time work. Please note that, due to the part-time nature of this role, healthcare and similar benefits will not be offered. PTO and professional development are offered with the position. There may be the potential for additional hours over time with the growth of the organization, but this is not a guarantee.
Requirements: No immigration-related experience is necessary, but at least 3 years of experience in administration or operations, in any setting, is required. Must have strong communication skills, be highly organized and pay attention to details. Candidates should be comfortable working with online tools, be able to perform basic data analysis (Excel), and be comfortable with a changing environment and changing responsibilities. *Although the position is remote, candidates should reside in Massachusetts.*
