Associate Director For Engagement

The Indiana Afterschool Network (IAN) wants every young person in Indiana to have the best chance at making a great life for themselves and a positive impact in their communities. We believe out-of-school time programming (i.e., before school, after school, and during the summer) can play a major role in that.  For more than two decades, IAN has been committed to out-of-school time (OST) organizations through supports and resources that promote continuous quality improvement of programs, increasing families’ access to OST programming, and advocacy that help to shape the environments in which OST providers serve.

IAN’s Associate Director (AD) of Engagement is an experienced community engagement professional who is responsible for developing an increasingly reciprocal engagement between Indiana Afterschool Network (IAN) and Indiana's out-of-school time field, as well as with critical community partners across the state, through the execution of IAN’s engagement strategy.  By providing guidance to regional OST leaders, facilitating partnership and network-building, and convening community partners to achieve a common purpose, the AD of Engagement expands IAN’s presence in regional communities, builds awareness for the importance of OST programming, and fosters engagement.

The AD of Engagement must live in Indiana.
