Role Overview
We're seeking a skilled Content Editor/Writer to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting and refining educational content across a range of platforms. This content encompasses product information, marketing materials, blogs, newsletters, emails, website content, Amazon listings, social media posts, graphics, advertisements, and more.

Content Editing
Follow the guidelines outlined in the Seeking Health Editorial Guide.
Carefully review, edit, and proofread content for public release.
Ensure content aligns with the Storybrand approach.
Enhance content readability using tools like Hemingway.
Collaborate with the Regulatory Department to ensure content complies with regulations.
Utilize Clearscope for SEO optimization and strive for an A-grade rating.
Assess content accuracy, offering suggestions to align with brand standards.
Provide factual references and perform fact-checking for diverse content pieces.
Transform audio and video transcripts into polished blog posts.
Create draft blogs using the WordPress platform.
Content Writing
Craft various content pieces, catering to both Retail (laypeople) and Wholesale (healthcare practitioners) audiences.
Develop product-specific content that elucidates the scientific aspects of Seeking Health's offerings.
Adhere to the writing style detailed in the Seeking Health Writer’s Guide.
Content Optimization
Uphold writing guidelines as outlined in the Seeking Health Writer’s Guide.
Modify existing content to ensure compliance with regulations, SEO best practices, and Storybrand principles.
Collaborate with writers to identify key phrases, SEO strategies, and content themes using Clearscope.
Coordinate with graphic designers to generate necessary visuals for blogs, including cover images and infographics.
Qualifications And Preferences
A meticulous eye for detail is essential.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in content writing, blogging, copywriting, or related roles.
Proficiency in WordPress, basic SEO principles, and the Chicago Manual of Style.
Experience in creating educational scientific content.
Strong computer skills.
A motivated and enthusiastic work ethic.
Preferred background or experience in functional medicine, dietetics, nutrition, or the medical field.
Marketing experience is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO writing is advantageous.
Industry exposure to supplements is preferred.
Basic knowledge of genetics is a bonus.
Familiarity with the content of Dr. Ben Lynch’s book "Dirty Genes" is advantageous.
Understanding of eCommerce and wellness supplement regulations, policies, and procedures is preferred.
Knowledge of marketing analytics is valued.
