Varis is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Content Marketing to join our team. As a highly visible member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and sales content strategies that engage and convert target audiences.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content marketing principles, as well as experience with social media, video production, and sales presentations. You will be the primary owner of the Varis website and all lead gen efforts, ensuring the look, feel, and content align with our brand messaging.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales content strategies.
  • Manage and create engaging social media campaigns.
  • Produce high-quality video content.
  • Create compelling sales presentations that drive conversions.
  • Write blog posts, articles, and other marketing materials.
  • Work collaboratively with other marketing and sales team members to develop and execute content plans.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices to inform content strategy.
  • Measure the effectiveness of content campaigns and adjust as needed.
  • Establish clear, consistent processes for finding, vetting, and producing high-quality, compelling content.
  • Work closely with product management to define marketing messaging and programs.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to develop sales materials, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, testimonials, and other compelling content.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including new software product feature launches.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing content development
  • 3+ years of experience developing and managing all sales collateral, pitch decks, supporting materials, etc.
  • 2+ years of experience producing high-quality content by collaborating with design and writing teams.
  • 2+ years of experience creating editorial calendar, delegating tasks, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Experience with social media, video production, and sales presentations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build a complex product narrative with input from cross-functional partners.
  • Curiosity, optimism, and strong problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with customer success, and product managers to communicate product vision and strategy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

At Varis, pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The figures in this range reflect the average annual base salary for the given role, while additional variable incentives based on performance may also be available. Recruiters can share more information about our bonus program, benefits and equity during the hiring process.

Pay Range

$110,000—$130,000 USD
