Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area is growing and has an exceptional opportunity for a staff recruiter to join a world class talent acquisition organization. This position will support the MFC business area Production Operations, Global Supply Chain and E&T/offsite location client groups.
This role will primarily serve in the capacity of a full lifecycle recruiter by sourcing and screening qualified applicants using best in class tools and technology. The role will be responsible for building strong client and candidate relationships, sourcing for technical and non technical candidates, negotiating offers, making compensation recommendations and working strategic hiring initiatives within MFC talent acquisition.
This is a fast-paced environment and to be successful you must have a demonstrated track record of measurable effectiveness.
Specific Responsibilities Include
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for technical, engineering, and cleared positions, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Lead the efforts to develop, implement, and execute hiring strategies for client groups across MFC
  • Strategize with TA Managers, HR Business Partners, and Recruiters to stay apprised of current business dynamics within your customer groups.
  • Works with all levels of management to understand the job and needs requirements
  • Develops networks to ensure a strong pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates using creative techniques, social media, databases, and other channels
  • Source and recruit top-tier talent, to meet hiring goals of the long range plan and to build candidate pipelines for upcoming and future growth demands
  • Conducts prescreens to recruit prospective candidates and refers job applicants to specific job openings adhering to compliance requirements
  • Partners effectively with HR teammates when working on compensation, compliance, onboarding, and other hiring processes.

Some local and domestic travel may be required to attend job fairs and other events

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience as a full lifecycle recruiter in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience in recruiting methods such as attracting passive and active candidates for technical skill sets; creative short-mid range recruiting strategies, recruiting events/and or campaigns, utilizing job boards and sourcing tools.
  • Minimum of 5+ years advanced sourcing experience including Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn engagement, and results oriented passive candidate outreach. Experience in performing analysis of job market supply/demand for specific skills to maximize sourcing plan.
  • Expert level user of applicant tracking systems
  • Experience with candidate relationship

management systems (CRM) such as Avature or other related tools
  • Experience with social media driven

recruiting tools and sourcing tools to attract cleared engineering or technical and non-technical talent
  • Experience in converting passive candidates

to qualified applicants, familiar with common
talent acquisition analytics and tracking metrics
  • Understanding of OFCCP and EEO employment

law and application to the hiring process.
  • Strong computer software skills (MS Word, Excel,

PowerPoint)

  • Experience in recruiting and sourcing for Manufacturing, Engineering, or Global Supply Chain positions
  • Experience in recruitment strategies for AI/ML and GNC Engineering skill sets.
  • Ability to source, identify, and build new talent pipelines
  • Experience leading diversity and veteran recruiting programs
  • Strong customer focus and hiring manager collaboration experience
  • Prior experience in Aerospace & Defense industry
  • Experience providing customer/hiring leader training sessions
  • AIRS or HCI certifications

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $86,700 - $166,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $99,800 - $187,900. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
