We're seeking a marketing coordinator to join our team! As a marketing coordinator, you'll be a key member of our marketing team and assist in the development and implementation of an effective marketing and communications program to achieve our mission.

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator (Full-Time)


The starting salary is between $18.94-$23.65 per year, with room for growth based on a variety of factors such as skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Primary Purpose

As a marketing coordinator, you'll play an important role in helping us achieve our mission by assisting in the development and implementation of a successful marketing and communications program.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as a member of the marketing team

Acts as the university photographer

Writes and distributes press releases

Maintains and updates social media sites and blog

Updates university website as directed

Researches and writes articles for the newsletter

Searches for and sends news and announcements to the university community

Provides graphic design services for the university

Represents the university at community events

Works with purchasing to obtain quotes and place orders

Maintains contact list for local and national media

Approves student apparel and flyers

Desired Skills And Abilities

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Committed to valuing equity, diversity, and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment

Knowledge of graphic design software, including Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)

Experience with Wordpress

Professional photography experience

Strong organizational and communication skills

Positive customer service attitude

Ability to work with confidential material and pay attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize a large workload

Strong computer skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Motivated and self-directed


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

1-3 years of previous marketing experience

Additional Requirements

Final candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug screening
