Job Requisition ID # 23WD67675 Position Overview Are you a content creator with a passion for storytelling and SEO and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop compelling content? Are you curious about how things are designed and made? If yes, then read on. Autodesk's award-winning Content & SEO team is looking for a content creator with experience scaling organic growth through strategic SEO content. As an accomplished writer, editor, and researcher, the Content Marketing Specialist, SEO & Owned Media, will produce copy focused on driving quality search traffic to Autodesk owned media properties and channels. In this role, you'll partner with our SEO team and multi-functional partners across Autodesk to develop content based on keyword research—addressing questions that strategic audiences are asking in Autodesk's core industry segments: architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO); design and manufacturing (D&M); and media and entertainment (M&E). You’ll write, assign, and edit content that addresses different personas across the customer lifecycle, inspires audiences, and supports key business objectives. And you'll produce stories that help build global awareness, preference, and trust for the Autodesk brand and its tools and technology. You will report directly to the Head of Content Development & Owned Media within the Content & SEO team. This role can be remote. Responsibilities
  • Write and edit SEO-focused article content that captivates and engages target audiences
  • Manage freelance writers to deliver high-quality articles that meet SEO goals
  • Collaborate with SEO and content strategy leads to understand best practices, trends, and ranking factors while ensure comprehensive coverage of relevant topics
  • Partner with other content creators and strategists within the Content & SEO team to align on shared goals
  • Tailor content to target audiences and personas, customer lifecycle journey, and customers' priority needs and outcomes
  • Coordinate with partners outside of the Content & SEO team to learn audience insights, stay informed about the latest Autodesk industry and product messaging, and align on campaign strategy
  • Use project management skills to drive to deadline
  • Use data analysis and content measurement to influence editorial planning, aligned with the Content Development & Owned Media team
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years proven writing and editorial experience in journalism, marketing, or public relations
  • Hard-wired curiosity with a "nose for a good story"
  • Proficiency in at least one SEO or keyword research tool (e.g. SEMrush, Moz, AnswerThePublic, etc.)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize according to urgency and/or business need
  • Capacity to tackle new challenges, show courage in conflict, and open other to new ideas
  • Confidence in communicating across an ecosystem of influencers, partners, and teams
  • Experience in setting goals, defining workloads, managing calendars, and reporting on outcomes
  • Determination to navigate and excel within a matrixed organization
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to collaborate within a global team
  • Knack for staying ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape
  • Knowledge of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction, Design & Manufacturing, and/or Media & Entertainment industries

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $61,400 and $105,820. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
